Marine Biology

Understanding marine and aquatic organisms and ecosystems.

Marine biologists study the organisms and interactions that make up aquatic and marine ecosystems. They conduct experiments in order to amass data and gain a more thorough understanding of a specific region generally with the intent of rehabilitation or preservation initiatives.

Applications in cellular agriculture:

Expertise in relevant marine organisms and environments is extremely useful to the understanding of optimal conditions required to culture cells of marine organisms for seafood production. They may also assist in evaluating the impacts of cellular agriculture on marine environments.
