Environmental Science

Understanding the relationships between human activity and the natural world to inform decisions around conservation and sustainability.

Environmental scientists aim to understand our natural world and our relationship with it as humans. They are interdisciplinary in their skills and knowledge, often studying various physical and biological sciences such as zoology, biology and ecology.

applications in cellular agriculture:

Environmental scientists can work closely with bioprocess and other engineers to design and develop ecologically sustainable and energy efficient bioreactors and bioprocess systems. They may also help to assess things like water quality and conduct life cycle assessments and to assist in developing environmental regulations for cellular agriculture.
