Environmental Engineering

Applying principles of engineering, soil and water science, biology and chemistry to design solutions to environmental challenges.

Environmental engineers assess and monitor various environments using physical, mathematical and environmental principles. They often collect their own data by testing soil, water, and air samples to assist them in designing and developing technologies to sustainably and effectively supply water, dispose of waste and control pollution.

applications in cellular agriculture:

Environmental engineers can work closely with bioprocess and other engineers to design and develop energy efficient bioreactors and bioprocess systems. They may also help to conduct life cycle assessments and to assist in developing environmental regulations for cellular agriculture.
