Agricultural Science
Conducting research on crops and livestock both in the lab and in the field.
Agricultural scientists conduct research on crops and livestock both in the lab and in the field. They are concerned with the relationship between plants and animals, the environment and our food production system and seek to develop cultivation techniques to increase yields in a sustainable way.
Applications in Cellular Agriculture
Agricultural scientists can apply their knowledge of traditional crop and livestock products to finetune the development of their cellular agriculture counterparts. They will have a valuable understanding of the products’ biology, palatability, durability (processing/shelf life) and even saleability.
